COF Morphing Strip Cloth
« on: October 26, 2015, 08:31:18 AM »
Childe of Fyre (aka Seliah, aka bludragoness) made 2 "COF Morphing Strip Cloth" packs, for Poser and Daz users.
Commercial renders are ok. I leave you links, then a description by artist.

Poser version
( other link for Poser version
second link in any case for Poser version

fourth link for Poser version)

Daz Studio 4 version

What is this? It's a very basic, low-poly modeled prop intended to be used as a random bits-or-bobs for hanging off of hair, bandages, whatever you might need a little strip of cloth dangling off of. There are a bunch of morphs on the prop. The morphs spin to both positive and negative values. Bear in mind, however, that the mesh WILL break if you turn the dials too far in either direction.

Notes :
This prop is NOT, I repeat - NOT - uvmapped.
As such, it will NOT take image based textures, or do well with image-based materials.
It CAN accept very BASIC procedurals.
It will load in world-center, and fairly close to being right on the ground.

It is a lone prop. It is not parented or conformed to anything. It is not a high-poly mesh at all; I just modeled a rectangular-shaped cube in Wings and then imported it to Poser. I made the morphs in Poser, and then saved it as a Poser prop.

Play about with the morph dials, the scale dials, rotation, etc. The promo render here shows the un-morphed (board shaped) prop, as well as two different combinations that I got through combining the various morphs in different positive/negative values.
