My workstation
« on: February 01, 2022, 12:11:23 PM »
I thought I would share with you all what my workstation looks like. I have three Monitors. The big one is a 32 inch. (All of them I can use my stylus on similar to a really big Wacom tablet.) There are actually two different keyboards (My main keyboard that you see here and my mouse are Logitech wireless) and two printers attached to this system. (An HP Office Jet pro and Epson.) It is a serious art making machine. As you can see in the photo I throw reference photos up on the mid sized screen #2 and use it kind of like I was sitting with a live model to draw (or paint rather) the subject. As I have old eyes, the large screen comes in handy for viewing things at high resolution so I can see the blaring mistakes caught up in the tiny details.
I do need to get more lighting in my workspace though. It is kind of dark in there.

I would love to see pictures of your workspaces. Considering all of the really great artwork you folks create I am sure that you have some interesting spaces.

Not a big machine here. Only a hp laptop (Windows10 :sigh: ) to use Daz3d, Wings3d, time to time PD Artist.
And, when I need it, another half died laptop (good old W8.1) for Poser and DS4; also for Flowscape.

Cool setup there Zeus!   I also have a dual monitor and built a new rig last June for my 66th birthday.   Used a simple Quadcore Q9550 for 12 years.  I was due an upgrade!  Now a Ryzen 7 octal core cpu, 64 gigs DDR4, 7 SSD drives + 1 BluRay rewriter.   ZNamed it here, BadMoonRYZEN

Looks good. I have old desktop but it is just outdated and I use it rarely, though I can work on it... I work with DS on my new (relatively speaking) HP Elitebook Laptop. I probably will get another  new laptop in the future, it seems investing in desktop is just out of my range for now :) but I am not giving up on 3d art, though I wish I could make money with it in some way... Have  to try it more seriously...  :nopanic;
