Mogwai went to the Doc.  Got checked out good end to end.  Wound up with worm med, flea med, antibiotics AND his Rabies/Feline leukemia vaccinations.   He was NOT happy with me when we got home either.   His top left lip is swole up.  He will get a dropper of antibiotic for 7 to 10 days.  Not feeling good, so he is staying with me.   They don't feel good *I* don't feel good.

Four days later, the little furball is wearing me out!   He is feeling a LOT better, and Tattoo is too, with getting de-wormed and flea meds.   Now I remember how Tattoo got all that muscle.  Zoom zoom whoosh zip zap vroom!   And Mogwai learned it all on first try too.   But I am very relieved they're both much better now.   Whew!

(fast foreward to a few days later)

Gee, I'm starting to think maybe Mogwai needs a younger more spry human!   He sleeps about the same amount, but more like a deep restful sleep.  And when he's awake, HE is UP!  And all over the place.  When he gets tired of chasing dust bunnies he comes looking for me.  He scratches the door, reaches under and paws around, tries to peek under the door, talks to me, trills, warbles, meows, pretty much everything  but English and barking.  Of course I let him in.  He is up on the back of my leather office chair right now.   He's finished grooming my head now.  Sheesh.  It's ok till he starts scratching at it.  I guess he's combing it with his claws?  He has as much energy now as he did at 6 months old!   So that sinus infection-tooth abscess was bugging him for a long time it seems.   I am SO glad he is feeling better now!

The Vet Dr's made me well aware of how severe Tattoo's allergies are.   And what to expect in his behavior.  SO far, they are spot on, and ol Tattoo isn't as bad as I was expecting.  I give him plenty of love and he gives it right back.
Mogwai is now behaving like a typical Cat.   And is as happy and playful as any younger cat.  He's just catching up some lost time I figure.  They have Cat stuffy toys by the dozen.  Mogwai has his gathered in his sleeping spot.  During the daylight UP time, he carries one or the other around, throws it around, catches it etc.   Warning!  Do not toss out the one with a 2 meter string tied to it, you will catch a Mogwai and have to play Fish n Fly! for about an hour!  Even Tattoo gets involved in that one when he feels good.  Heh!

Good to hear they are both doing so well.....

Oz's favorite pastime is taking his toys and putting them in his water.  Then takes them out and gets everything around them wet :thud:

Aww he's just making sure HIS little buddies don't go thirsty!   Mogwai has a couple, one especially, he does that with.  He also gives it dinner.  Drops it in the dry food bowl, or beside the moist food plate.  Ah, catz!  LOL!  If its still too wet at bedtime, it sleeps outside his box/apartment!  He loves em, gives em hugs and licks their faces.   Like his Mom and Tattoo used to do for him.
All you need is Love!    :luv5:
