Any bruising should be reported to your Doctor if you didn't know how it got there.

Texture problems
« on: November 27, 2019, 06:44:00 AM »
Guys, I'm developping something and I have a problem. Not in Wings3d, where the UVmap worked correctly (I also used the cleaned up command to be sure).

In Poser, when I do a render, no matter the light, I obtain a blur result on different objects. They don't share the same base, I did each of them differently (but 2 different plates have the same area with blur). You can see 2 different examples on the 2 first images.
I saw than more I'm close from the object, less I have blur in the render. Yet, the object themselves are made for far renders.
I resized textures, bigger and less big (textures are in 1800pixels by side originally).
I tried a lot of options today, and a little yesterday. I can't remove the blur from where it's.
I tried them in Poser 10 and Poser 11. Somebody else tried also in a Poser, with blur results.

The craziest thing is the props work very well in Daz (no matter it's DS3 or DS4); I join 2 results from DS4 to show you the difference.
That makes me thinking the problem isn't from the uvmap.

Did one of you have a similar problem with an prop and its textures by the past? If so, did you find a solution?
By advance, thank you.
(any idea is welcome)

Looks like the difference between Superfly and Firefly render engine

Sometimes I have a picture that looks better when done in Firefly then Superfly and vice versa ...

Poser 10 hasn't Superfly, the test was there only in Firefly.
In Poser 11, this morning I made a mistake and started a render in Superfly, it was the same way of blur. Then in P11, with Firefly it was same too.
Will try to push more next time in Superfly (we never know), if I don't need to go again on the web "because P11 wants it"  :sure:

can't say for sure; but check out the texture filtering options on the 2d image node in the Mat Room. Might help.

Ok, I hope Kianna won't be too much jealous, because I'll tell: J I love you!
I don't know why, but the other day the Superfly didn't work. Today it worked in Superfly!  :mwah:

I find that always weird, considering than I did the .mc6 in Poser 10. But trying to do new ones in Poser 11, result wasn't better.
For now, I consider half resolved the problem. Hoping to find one day what is the root of the issue.
Btw, P11.2 was clever than usual this morning, because it didn't ask to go on web to be used. I cross fingers for that continues.
