I use to use Ice Packs to lesson the pain and swelling. Worked well.

To combat the flatness so far..I need to put the first D (depth) into this doodle.
I turned off all other lights. I added a 'rim' light, behind and above the figure @ 200000 lumen, point down at the head.  You can see some 'depth' and some high lights on the hair.

For the pièce de résistance
On to the second D 'Drama'. With all the lights turned off, I add a spot light, set @ 3000000 lumens behind the figure's head, giving it that 'corona' like glow.

I'm quite satisfy so far.I did a little bit of fine tuning with the tonemapping.Now I'm ready to render a color and a monochrome version.
I'll post them in the gallery when done..
