I have poser 9, short time later computer needed an overhaul and was wiped. I have no idea how to install it again and when I get home next week I wont' have interet....any suggestions on how I can get it installed again?
-
Unless you have it on disc or a thumb drive already it might be difficult,
-
Found this thru a search
Poser 9 Free Download (https://en.freedownloadmanager.org/users-choice/Free_Download_Poser_9_Full_Version.html)

I might have it on disk, not sure, will check when I get home, hopefully the weather will stay nice and I can get to the college to let you know what I have. I do have my receipt I believe.

Oh and thelufias, I don't think I have pro version.
-
I'll keep looking around.... :yesway:
-
I made a mistake, I have Poser 11 and again I don't think it's pro

I made a mistake, I have Poser 11 and again I don't think it's pro
But... if you have Poser 11, even not Pro, you can take Poser 11.2 and that will offer you the Pro version. Believe me, I had only the Smith Micro basic one; and now than Rendo owns Poser, they offer to each Poser 11 owner to take the update and the Pro version.
So now, how can you take Poser 11.2?
Follow that link https://www.posersoftware.com/downloads you gave to us in a topic.
Take the installers you need.
Click after that on "Download Additional Content Files (License required)" for the Windows or Mac stuff (always what you need).
Enter your serial number given by SM when you obtained Poser 11. And that's it! You can take folders you need, even if you need to take them in several days. I did myself on several days.
If it's on several days, just go the next times on the page where it's asked for serial number - I found the one for Bondware is the same that we had on SM version.
Good luck and fun

Thanks Aelin...will try that, I do know I saved my serial number and such, so that's no problem, now to figure out how to get 32 bit version of daz 4.10 cause I need that for animation for the talking part.
Oh question, since I don't have internet at home, how do I register poser to make sure it works alright?
-
For that I have no idea because to put it working at first you need internet.
After, I tried to work without internet, but my Poser asked to check online. J also had to be online to use once his Poser. I don't know for others, and I haven't try since.
-
Only had to be on line long enough for the server to recognize me.
After that I unplugged my connection and have had no issues
-
Well then lets hope I can solve the net problem when I get home.
-
Oh the additional content files, do I need those in order to use Poser, if it's just models I can wait till I can get to the college to grab them and in the meantime use the software to save things for poser use...will that be possible?
-
The additional files that come with it have a bit of everything in them, including figures, props, clothing and all that stuff, CalieVee. It's the stuff on the first page of Downloads you need to get hooked up with the Bondware Poser server. Get both of those files on that page. The rest on the next page you can put on a memory stick or disk and download later without the Internet connection. It's your initial use of Poser that you'll have to be hooked up for verification. I'd add those files up and see how much space you're going to need on your stick(s) or disks.
You'll need your Serial Key to get into that second page so they can verify your copy of Poser 11.

I have 32 gigs sticks so don't think it will be a problem. Have to see what I can do to connect when I get home. I have some idea's floating around in my head, so see what happens.
