A real throw back from the way-back machine.

Recently bought a copy of Heavy Metal on DVD

Man oh man the only time I watched this was way back in my "ehem" days

And yes due to the nature of the items imbibed I recall very little of the movie.

All I can say watching with a clear head is "oh my giddy aunt"

Color me irritated now. Just got one of those damn red light notices.

Why am I irritated, well because it is $158.00 out of my pocket.

The suck ass part is that I was behind a semi and never would have been able to see that the light had turned yellow let alone was turning red at the time of the incident.

Yeah, try and get the court system to say sure no problem, would be like getting Luffie to admit he loves Kianna.

Because the problem with fighting it is that if you lose, not only do you still have to pay the fine but you also get to pay an additional $250.00 of court costs.

Talk about rigging the system

That is not that bad fine compaired to here the fine for running a red light in Las Vegas is three hundred five dollars ($305.00).  However traffic tickets no matter what the fine is not a happy situation.

Yikes I am getting a bargain there in that respect.

Just irritating that even though I did not see that the light had changed to red I am still getting penalized for it.

The real eye opener is I watched the video they have of me going through the intersection and I must say that the length of time that the light is yellow is noticeably shorter.

But we know that trying to fight it would be losing proposition so

Want to have fun....next time you come to a red light....stay there...even after it turns green....see if you get a ticket for that....

Oh wait....that would be fun for ME.....not for you.....but I don't feel bad....since I didn't bring up the "K" thing

And no....you have NO chance in court.  The light changes are based on traffic flow.....not built in timers....all computerized....

Got people sitting at a green light as it is, playing with their phones because that text message or Facebook post is more important then driving

Well, even more and more for the MedCom in regards to equipment for each campus ...

Why am I :sad: guess it has to do with the concept of too many cooks .. and since I have been herding the kittens for this customer for over a year. I guess that I am the one selected to keep on top of all their equipment.

And what else do I get to see, but another 10 radios from one site and another six new ones for a different site.

The fun part was we, me an another picked up the 10 from the one site since the complaint was they didn't work during their last disaster drill.

Well, what do we find we we picked them up, yep never inventoried, never tagged, never programmed.


 

Imagine that ... however I worked on them at the shop and all of that got corrected and now they will work as intended.

Even delivered them back to them before the end of business ... got both the "oh my, really" and "thank you so very much"

Brought them up to date as to how the template was configured so they will be able to integrate with the other radios for disaster training.
Another happy customer ... haven't had that happen often
