Totally the idiots have decided to continue to cry about the UPS at the new tower.

Apparently the people who wired up the alarm points on the UPS wired one of them wrong NC instead of NO

And they want me to fix it

Sorry that is not in my scope and besides I still remember when you lot call me and the others incompetent

It is the vendors issues not mine as I have no desire to own that UPS.

Plus I have an install for the rest of the week at another customers site.

Sure enough is ... why ... because they failed another inspection yesterday afternoon

Oh this nonsense just gets deeper and deeper.

The original offices that the senior tech and myself were to get ... negative

In fact we get absolutely nothing out of the move and ye ole senior tech in definitely unpleased.

In fact the senior tech is so unimpressed he has put out a job application .... the scary part is they called back and he has had one phone interview ... the only problem I see with this is that currently he does little to no work about the place and yet he wants to go elsewhere.
I do not want to see him go as I have learned and continue to learn from him on a multitude of radio topics.

And we still haven't gotten complete approval to move in and there is stuff left at the old place.

Better still took Friday off because of a doctors appointment, and get the proverbial 17,256 phones calls about everything and its cousin twice removed.

All I can say so far since we are not officially in the new place is "NOT IMPRESSED" one tiny little bit.

Well, technically we are in the new place and it is utter nonsense

Outlets at 7' above finished floor at one tech location, dead outlets at the other.
Then at my "spot" only one duplex instead of multiples like the others, and of course it doesn't work.
Even better I went hunting it down in the panel as I have the knowledge, and it is not in the panel at all.

Not even pleased obviously

Better still is the utter of having to use or badge to get in and out of the building every time.
Then there are several doors that if you are not careful you can lock yourself out instantly.  
Even better is the concept of the bathrooms are on the other side of the reception desk, so guess what if you go to the bathroom to shall we say "make a mess" and since there is no air freshener yet around the lovely, fragrant effluvia that wafts out after completed such a task apparently made the office lady highly unhappy
  technically it is not but what is one to do

Watch out for the Vanilla Candle Spontaneously Appearing!  Or one of those 30 day Scented oil things! As for the missing Fuse box Might need to place a toner and go around and trace the line O.o One time found it was wired into the Bathroom Ground fault!?

That wouldn't surprise me since two GFI's in the break room do not trip when I use my GFI woodhead on them.

Now to add even more insults ... the new manager wanted to see about partitions between our area and the hallway.

Yep, guess we are truly persona non gratis and are not to be seen let alone heard.

 

Even better if you go in the bay you have to badge back in through the door, which currently is not operating properly due to the door not being pinned correctly. So if that doesn't spell discrimination I am not certain what does ... we all work for the same company so why does one have to use an ID to go from one side to the other. Even better why are there cameras in the building and what is this obsession that we all have to accept that this is the way things are and one just needs to accept it.

Says who, all the beginning promises were not delivered so why should I accept a damn thing that is spoken any longer. I mean obviously this move was for the pencil breakers and paper pushers and those of us that do the hands on work are third class people and not to be considered in any fashion.
