Now for something entirely different I see that DAZ has gone political

They are having a sale about AAPI and DTF hate and claim that the proceeds will be going to those organizations to fight against it.

 

In my mind there is a fine line between bringing an injustice to light and turning it into an obsession that colors everything one thinks, says and does and eventually makes the whole thing worse then it ever could have been if it had been left alone and acknowledge the one time.

And isn't amazing how quickly all these acronyms pop up for every single thing ... I had to look up the above acronyms to even know what they meant and then I am in the corner shaking my head in disbelief.

I concur that there is a lot of bad in the world now, but to go out of the way to continually shove it in our faces every chance a group gets in front of the (fake) media which is then is picked up and kept alive by everyone that buys into everything the media spews.

It is so disappointing

I figure I will post this with the hopefully to get over what has been bothering me since the evacuation of Afghanistan. With the coming of 9/11's twentieth anniversary, still feeling a little down.  I was mobilized in 2010 to go to Kandahar in Afghanistan, (I really don't like talking about it and really don't like being thanked for my service since I also served in the 70s and 80s too.) didn't spend much time on this mission got hurt and sent back since I was in my 50s at he time. 

I have notice things in this country was starting to go the wrong way back in the 90s and built up since their to now as our freedoms has dwindled away a little at a time.  Now it is very evident that we are at a tipping point with the mass illegal migration at the border, health crisis, despotism, the inept way we left Afghanistan with the flooding of questionable refugees that were not fully vetted, our light of freedom is flickering in this country and is leaning toward socialism which leads to communism. 

I only hope and pray that all these events that has happen in recent history is a wake up call for our country to get back on the right track (a god fearing and moral country, with people who can think for themselves and can tolerate different opinions.  Understand and value our Constitution and laws and why it insures our freedoms and what laws don't. ) and insure that the next generation will have a country that is free.

When Al Gore first talked about Global Warming in the late 80's and 90 to present day, which is now know as Climate Change, he talked about the ice caps melting and by the turn of the century (now), the place where I live should be 300ft underwater and part of the pacific ocean.  Where is the water?  The lake here is also low too.  I know the ice caps will melt away,  since the ice age ended roughly 11,000 years ago, the earth climate will change from time to time, instead of taxing everyone to death to post pone what cannot be stopped, we should understand what is happening and how we can survive it as a spices and prepare for the next change that will happen.  We as a species have survived the ice age and we should be able to survive the next climate change too by thinking and adapting to the change.
