As Eve came back to consciousness, she realized she was in a bed, not in the conversion unit. She sat up. And then she noticed her hands: they were now skin.
Dr. Clarke came in and began describing the things she'd need to be aware of, such as having softer feet might make walking initially more difficult.
"You'll also need to remember to wear clothes, Eve. Don't forget or you'll surprise your new crew members."
Eve remarked with excitement, "I have a new outfit that Albany help choose earlier today."
She couldn't stop looking at her new shell.
