"Hail, Alys," said Ryanne. "How many this time?"

"Only three," she responded. "The Innkeep is very grumpy about a little wrestling."

"And did this "wresting" involve unconsciousness on the part of some of the participants?"

"Well, maybe a little," responded Alys, kicking her right foot as she was inclined to do under pressure.

"And was your search successful?" asked Ryanne.

"Well, I wasn't consumed by a monster so yes on that part. As to finding the artifact, no."

"Then I'm alone in finding a map. We'll have to decide how to proceed during our evening meal. I understand Sean's cooking is quite good."

"He'll never let me back inside," said Alys.

"Let us see to our mounts and then we'll address that."
