On the Way Home - AC winner 02/12/22 Beth and her fairy friend Rain were on the way home from Janet's house. Walking by the Apothecary's building Rain spotted an odd glow from the window. She had to hover a bit to be able to see in but as she rose, so did a huge sphere within. "You should leave, Beth," said the orange tabby. Beth turned in surprise to see the talking cat, looking straight at her. "This place is not safe." As Beth dragged her reluctant friend back across the street, she could see that was correct.

Image and prose fit so well, Cat looking at Beth, Beth looking at cat, Rain oblivious. 8 ) Slow burn explosions can be pretty, but dangerous. Love this Sir Knight. Cheers
