That's a cool defense anyway against the beast. Maybe some additionnal pannels like "beware the tentacular beast" would be great for people who don't know it lol

Some time later, Alys' horse had cooled down and began to graze. Alys was still soaked in sweat from the furious ride.

On the other side of the barrier, the Thing hung motionless. By the time Alys had also cooled down, the Thing turned and move back towards the forest.
