Going to the May Eve celebration

After the sun had set Mike prepared to attend the pixies' May Eve celebration for a second year. He still didn't know how last year's had ended, finding himself in his pajamas in his bed the next morning with no recollection of how he'd gotten there.

Tonight was cooler than last May Eve so he put on longer sleeves and wore a jacket. He gather the tiny hats that had been on his dresser since St. Patrick's Day and went down to his bike. He attached the hats to the grill at the rear of his motorcycle and took the long way back to the field where he's first met the pixies three years ago.

This year he noticed that the blue flowers in the field glowed very faintly in the dark. He hoped he'd be able to find the entrance.
