Poser and Windows 7
« on: December 12, 2010, 08:10:41 PM »
I will put this in the Computer section too for ease of finding.

There has been a problem pop up with W7 and Poser along with the mil peoples Morphs++.
If you find that the installation of the ---V4 morphs++ for instance-- installation went well, all files are in place in the main Poser folder (Poser 8 possibly too) and you have properly initialized your characters after their main installation then after the morphs++ installation --

then when you go to use the morphs they do not take hold as they should...well you won't be the only one this happens to. Unfortunately Content Paradise and even Daz were not much help. They give you the usual reinstall/initialize V4, reinstall morphs++/initialize V4 or reinstall the entire Poser program again AND IT STILL doesn't help then one persona dilemma will help:

"Apparently Poser writes something back to the disk when it adds the Morphs++ and Windows 7 doesn't like this so it blocks it. It finally dawned on me to try running Poser as an administrator. Presto! Problem solved"

Now you too can try this if your Program gets stuck.
Fear not,
You are never alone,
I am there to comfort and guide you...
Always.
