I move the 15 yr old office chair to the living room (near the door) and treated myself to a brand new Serta Office Managers ALL DAY chair!   LOL!  And it sure is comfy!    :shj: :odd: :sunny:   Now what do I do with the next 13 pages of unread posts?   

Congrats to J and Kianna on their recent wedding too!   :D

Congratulations on your new chair. It's nice to have a new chair once in awhile :smiley:

Look like another normal day, it is going up to 104 degrees F today.  Hope it doesn't get as hot as last year when 115 or little more degrees hit us.  It seem that after 105 degrees it is just hot outside.   


Hope everyone is doing as well as they can. :sunny:

I've been in LV when it's a 105° and more, and it IS really ghastly hot outside. It's like the air stops moving. :fainting:

Hey PDG sorry to hear things are a bit rough for you, will keep fingers crossed that it all comes right.

Ow having teeth pulled is no fun, forget the coffee and the cup just hand me the painkillers and the whole keg of rum.
I'll be in my corner feeling a bit sorry for myself till things stop hurting

Nice new (to me) avatar.  Agree about the teeth. I'm running out of originals. Less pain as there are fewer left to get pulled. I hate root canals more. I've had a couple of those over the years. Inkeeper; more grog.

We won't think your skint if you don't buy a round, PDG. Another great Kinks song - unfortunately more 'reality' now, than when it was written. 

Sending you thoughts and prayers for a successful operation and healing. Losing what you did is bad enough but you're more important. Let's hope your 'landlord' gets all that fixed before you must go in for all of that.

It really sucks. Such is life however. I spent the weekend in Montreal for the F1 race. I save up all year to pay for this event. I haven't missed a Canadian Grand Prix in more than 40 years. Coming home monday night to this whole thing was just enough to send me over the top.


I suspect things will get moving on the repairs today. I've involved three levels of govt. and numerous other folk that should be involved including cops, fire, and public health. Lots of photos and my circles and arrows on the back of each one as Arlo would say.

Yes it does suck, big-time. I certainly hope they do get around to starting on that today. Mostly because it will be a load off your mind for later in the month to have all that taken care of. You likely won't get your stuff back, but at least I hope they can ID the thieves and get them off the street before they rip more people off. 

I hope you at least got to enjoy the Gran Prix while you were there, PDG.

well Hipshot  you  is in the right place for sure  we got plenty  coffee and good spirits  here  the barmaids usually fix some kind of food in the mornings  only one you got to watch out for is dreadzilla  the one  with the snaketacles   aka  Kianna  or fugly
