I liked Gerard Butler best in 300 and in Gods of Egypt.  The first he was really great in it, the second cause he got SO gorily KILLED by Ra's spear!  Left a swath of (gold) blood three feet wide trying to crawl away from his nephew.  Who didn't make the mistake of sparing him a second time.  Ha!   Fun movie!

I've enjoyed many musicals through the decades.   The Sound Of Music is among my favorites.  And the Wizard of Oz too.   But a film where *ALL* dialog is sung?  Nope.  Can't stand that.  Channel check!  And all that great stuff.   Those people are ALL good actors.  Let them *ACT* darnit!  LOL!   If that is what ya like then more power to you.
:perverted: I'll meet ya outside somewhere.    Like the Hungarian Alps, or on the Yellowbrick Road!

Master & Commander.   Not considered a musical huh?   They DID use the Viola and Violin pretty extensively though!

Good morning guys!
Here it's a lot of sun... but only good as longer as you stay at home, and don't open windows  :tearlaugh:
Or Kianna made a mistake on the address where she might go, and came at his house to do  :pole: Imagine him passed out :tearlaugh:

Good morning Aelin (though it's almost sunset by me, as well as by you  ).
Here it's the same, shining and damn cold - and unfortunately I had to open a window to seal off a freezing draught that blew direct into my ribs, so afterwards I had no choice but taking a scorching hot shower to exorcise the possible consequences... first time I regret not having a sauna within reach :tearlaugh:

Gerard Butler was also in a couple of others I can think of. I liked them - a movie called "Gamer" and a sword and sandals extravaganza called "Gladiator". Gamer's a lot better than I thought it would be. It's pretty strange. Watch Gladiator if you like S&S movies...which I do.

He was also in "Noah".

It's the same here. Sun's shining but the wind is wicked cold...and more clouds are moving in from the west. Oh well, at least I had an opportunity to get my trash out to the dumpster this morning!

Perhaps you have him crossed up with Russel Crowe in two of those, Ray.
Gladiator is a Ridley Scott film too, I thoroughly enjoyed it, and Noah as well.
Noah is an outstanding film that has received little enough positive reviews/criticism!  Well acted, and tons of terrific SFX in it too.  The fallen angels, that was a touch of wonder methinks.  And filling the ark with all the creatures, and getting them to sleep with the medicine smoke, and too, getting Ray Winstone's character snuck aboard was interesting.   Noah was a devout and learned man.  His wife, played by Jennifer Connolly was great too.
I also saw Gerard in a mini-series Attila, Tombraider: Cradle of Life, Nim's Island, Machine Gun Preacher and Olympus Has Fallen.  The last was on HBO last night too.  :o)  He's been in lots of other films I haven't seen.  Some we've heard him in.  All the How To Train Your Dragons.  Yeah.  Heh!
