    PHYSICALLY BASED RENDERING ENCYCLOPEDIA
looks like its a useful reference for everyone starting in PBR

When you click this link it will send you to the document.

Then click the link there to go to another area where you can download the document just follow the image below to do so...in case you are not already knowing how to get to some Google Docs...LOL

There may be a slight delay in setting up the download, be patient.

If you're logged into gmail BEFORE you go there it might go ahead and show that you are logged in. I was logged into gmail already and it showed my icon in the upper right corner. Try it and see. I have a google+ account too but am never in there and I think I read somewhere that they will shutting that part down in the near future.

I think I read it somewhere...LOL

I was logged into gmail but there was no way to save it as a .pdf for me but that might be because my .pdf 'saver' program doesn't work any more. I'm not sure. As I recall Adobe said it would expire some time last year. I'll have to check that and see if there is a newer version or if they've just gotten totally greedy with that without a common usage file. Oh well.

I know I can read pfd in Firefox and don't need to have something to grab pdf files. Only to save them.
Maybe you can read them also with your browser?

I saved it to my Google Drive and then as a link

And yup Aelin...G+ will be no more....which means I won't be getting the tons of notifications from places I liked to visit.  Some great photography could be found on G+ and I made friends with many of the folks that put it up.......For everything that remains the same....more seem to change.

I have always been able to see pdf's on  FF or Chrome,Safari even icky IE...LOL natively but to save them I just choose from any place to download as a pdf and they do it....then I got Adobe Acrobat Reader and it reads them also.

If you need the pdf just let me know.

Ya sure. That would be great to have the pdf - which I can read (when I run into them on line). My browser only gives me the options to save it as a web page or a .txt doc - neither one of which works for me.

I'll be changing to FF (hopefully with no issues) some time this week, most likely.

I did receive your pm. Thanks CalieVee. :peek:

I have found quite a few videos on YT about it and think I'll watch those. They seem pretty helpful and I can actually see them working with it and explaining what they're doing.

This is all in Unity but lighting is lighting, so you kind of have to extrapolate from what you know about it.

My problem is going to be converting the information to Daz and in some cases Blender. I have lots of tutorials on the newest Blender that is still in beta, can't wait for that one to finish, sounds like a winner. Even though I grabbed the Unity freebie, when it was first announced way back when, I have not installed it, did grab a 10 tutorial video I had to cut in two just to fit on disks though...lol

Also, seeing video's pop up of Unreal vs Unity. I have seen games made with both and promo video's and other stuff my son has shown me....Unreal is better when it comes to realism with textures and light.
