Title: Hunting a gremlin #2
Post by: DarkAngel on February 16, 2018, 07:54:14 AM
Hello all,

As the title says I am hunting down a gremlin that is annoying one of the members...as far as I can see.

This is a test topic so please answer it so I can see if anyone else is being bothered by this gremlin.

You will be getting several of these which will come as #1 and so forth from different sections of the forum.

Thanks loads and if I find him we will have gremlin stew, I am sure fafnir has a recipe or 3 for the cooking of such a naughty critter. :kaboom:

nope not caught, he is hiding well. One of his siblings was spotted but he just wanted a cookie so still looking, seems he is just bothering 1 member only and not sure if everywhere or just the one thread she can't access.

Now, now, now...the Gremlin Hunter put it there - the image at the top of the page. "All Clear, Right?"

Yes, gremlins popping out from behind every pillar and post makes it hard to concentrate! Or that's all you do is concentrate on them - like in a game :winks:

Well it is very well done and I for one appreciate it

Shall I try a "filthy" IP and see what happens?

If I get cut off I can still borrow for a while my wife's computer (Win7 without VPN) and get in touch through that - it won't cost me more than a dinner at the Greek restaurant and a rose...  :(ROFLMAO:

Damn that :soapy: word again "normal"

What's wrong with the word?

I looked it up in the dictionary (http://www.dictionary.com/browse/normal) and found:

[5.d.] "having the property that corresponding to every pair of disjoint closed sets are two disjoint open sets, each containing one of the closed sets",
which makes perfect sense and matches quite closely my concept of normalcy... :tearlaugh:

IOIO, it's off to work I go?

I don't know that the definition "free from any mental disorder; sane" fits anyone here. :odd:

Are you kidding? There are no mental disorders in here, just slightly different standards...    :padded:

Normal and Sane are two standards that I've never really taken to.  Too boring!

You're definitely not alone!

"Nature abhors a vacuum", they used to say long ago... but all the same vacuum 'fills' almost the entire known universe.
And I've got the awkward feeling that the mental vacuum usually called 'normalcy' and 'sanity' fills almost the entire collective skull of the humankind...

Sadly, too many people start out trying to fit in.  And slowly the "normal" ideas become their own and individuality goes out the window.  They get their thoughts from those around them and stop thinking for themselves.  The saddest part is that they don't even realize it.

was raised to be myself and not worry bout fitting  in treat others as you would have them treat you and  sure as hell  don't  kiss ass or  brown nose  cause that usually gets you nowhere and a loss of  respect from others
