That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime

Have been buying the manga for some little time, a bit behind in reading them, which is no surprise considering how many books I buy ... however today I received the anime.

This is.... should be interesting

... and has proved so far in the first three episodes

More tidbits to come ... so far we are liking part one of season one.

Remember very little of the first disc from last night as I am usually doing other things and not giving it 100% of my attention, still ADD after all these years

However am watching disc one of part one again and the intro episode just finished comparing it to the manga is fairly easy as I have read the first four volumes and it so far is pretty damn faithful to the story line.

The nice thing about this is it has an English dub which means I can do two things at once.

This is on my list to watch, my son wants to see it was well, it was his suggestion to me.

The one spoiler I will give about this is the bit they have between episodes ... leads one to understand there is a second season in the works as they allude to to it in the blurb.

It was a very satisfying anime to watch as well, good solid story line with lots of character development. Makes me quite ready to carry on reading the manga, as I got distracted in the reading of, kept up with buying the volumes though (up to 12 now) where I left off at was at season one part one end of disc one ... and it was quite faithful to the manga.

Faithful is good, so many things are not these days.

Watching the entire season one straight through at long last and it is excellent on all the main points.

Damn the second time around is even better than the first .....

I know and I can't wait for season 2, which I hope they will make, not sure anymore thanks to covid-19.

I am hopeful that it will happen, and will just be delayed due to rubbish beyond our control.

Well, was bored and started watching it a third time around and man oh man, picking up nuances that were missed or glossed over and am truly enjoying this anime.


I will say this though there are ever so many instances of truly great writing and plot/character development that there was water in my eyes for unknown reasons.
