For the past 4 years I've been taking the VHS Tapes I have and converting them to DVD's. It's a LONG process. By the time I get done with this they'll probably have something new out in the market :tearlaugh: :tearlaugh:

wow, I have a ton of those too, not the player. Last one I had, stopped working....Alot of the VHS we have are disney movies for the kids and home videos, lol

Is that what came out before the VHS? I'm thinking it is...One of the guys at the plant purchased one and was very sorry he did. After a year or so, nothing was ever made for them again....NADA.....LOL

yes betamax where made by sony and they were far better machines but i think vhs were cheaper and they swamped the market

And not many VHS machines are in stores anymore. You use to be able to pick from different brands....and now only a few brands manufacture them. But you do have some that record the VHS to Disc....all sorts of brands make them....

One cannot help but wonder at the content of your VHS library... perchance mementos of your many romantic trysts with a certain K...?

it died even quicker then Betamax .........I know I bought one :(ROFLMAO:
then came cds and the promise of no scratches, no hiss and pops
like that ever happened ........the newer "burn yer own" use dyes that change under the lazer
to make the pattern of dots that make the crappy sounds {not that I complain cos I'm deaf in one ear lol }
but leave that cd on your dashboard in full sun ..........see if it still works
so all your really important stuff ......keep on a good quality cd in a dark paper sleeve in a box in a cool dry place
