Childe of Fyre's Characters V4 M4

Childe of Fyre's is taking the for sale items from Content Paradise and putting them up for free at sharecg. There are characters for both M4 and V4 plus morph++ for both. I do not yet know if there will be more uploaded later.Except for one so far for Daz, these are usable in both Daz and Poser. The link below is to the gallery showing all the available downloads....

It's an habit I took when a lot of our freebie links started to be missing with revolutions, closing sites... Sometimes we have another site with freebies, sometimes more, sometimes not at all. And find them again when our first clue is missing is a pain in...
I know Seliah is one who has regularly her freebies in several places. You never know what happens with web.

Hi folks. :)

As there is some curiosity about the number of former CP item morphs/characters that I plan to release into my freebies, I figured I would pop in and give a heads up on the state of that migration.

As of the time of this posting, I have moved over to my freebies, ALL of my "Digital Souls" morphs. This includes 2 M4 shapes, and 2 V4 shapes, and 1 shape for the original Genesis 1 figure. I never made anymore beyond those. I had intended to, but the more I got working in CP, the more I found I had some ethical objections to the way in which they handled their checkout process, specifically as related to the storage of purchased items.

It is my feelings that once a customer purchases a digital item, that they should not have to pay for it again. Obviously, it's always good practice to keep proper backups of files and our content libraries, but even backups can suffer unexpected catastrophic failures. It has never been an industry standard for Poser/Daz Studio content marketplaces to do this, and I just could not come to terms with selling items in a place that did that.

As such, I shut down my CP store around the time that I moved to Hivewire. I did not opt to migrate my old product to Hivewire because I thought it was just too far below my current quality standard at that point.

At this point, I have moved my entire CP catalogue into my freebies.

-- All 5 Digital Souls shapes
-- Shades of the Masters 1 (V4 Pose set)
-- Shades of the Masters 2 (M4 Pose set)
-- Nathaniel (M4 skin/shape)
-- Village Variety (14 styles for the Evil Innocence "Village Girl" dress)
-- Every Man's Closet (10 styles for Uzilite's M401 outfit)

That sums up my entire CP catalogue. LOL I never built any kind of sizable product catalogue, mostly because of the reasons I mentioned above.

I do maintain a freebie "announcement" thread on the HiveWire forums, and if something I've made is specifically for one of their models, then I will also post that to their "Resources" section. Additionally, I know that most of my freebies were also listed on the Daz/Poser wiki by someone. (Not sure who - but thank you, whoever you are!) So, if you ever lose any of the links up above, you can always fetch the links from the Wiki, I suppose.
