She amazes me at times.....  Like when the kitten jumped up on my table and I removed it quickly with shove of the hand....she got upset and said to me  "It's only a kitten and doesn't know better"  to which I stated, unless it's told,  it won't get any better. 

And then, a  bit later I heard her chastising the kitten LOUDLY for knocking down all her perfumes off her bathroom cupboard and onto the floor....and you can bet I had fun with that one....  "Ohhhh....It's just a kitten....don't be mad....it doesn't know better"  LOLOLOLOL

Yes for cat you must show him now limits. Even if it's not always win after.
Here, big voices, big eyes and an index to say NO. It's ok, when we eat. But sometimes, when everything is out of table, cats jump on.

This kitten will learn it's fine to get on the sofa, the end tables, the chairs, the beds.....but not on the counters or the table.....and you can bet the first time it breaks something of hers that was on the table or counter....she'll be screaming louder than I would at the kitten  LOLOLOL
