R2 Astromech Droids (https://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/r2-astromech-droids-for-daz-studio-/78315) was modeled by VanishingPoint.
For the moment it's just for DS4.9+ users.

It's only a supposition I do, but regularly they make a version for Poser. We'll see if it will be the case for this one too.

I have no idea. Until now, Star Wars, Star Trek... are made firstly for fans, but as longer as you respect laws with your work, I think you can't have problems.

I think you can use for commercial only if you are one official artist working for owners of SW.

It appears now that VanishingPoint has stopped to do freebies with Poser versions :sigh:
