To convert .dds
« on: May 15, 2015, 04:28:50 AM »
This morning, i play the snoop to find one thing, and an other, and...  :lost:

When i talked of .dds format in this topic at start i hadn't idea on utility of this format.
Finally this replace classic formats of textures.

Problem: if you try to load in .dds format in Photoshop, you can't.

Finally, i find a site, known from several years, with a plugin for Photoshop. Follow this link for 32 or 64 bits.
Plugin is for Photoshop until CS6.
I try it and it work really in CS2  :yippee:

After installation, when you want load a dds file, a window appears.
Then, when you choose a proposition, you have your texture. Now, you can save in format that you want; jpg seems a little big size compare to dds.

And we believe that so very much ....

"But who is stronger, truly, I asked myself, he who continues to wound and bleed himself to please others, or he who refuses any longer to do so?"
