Any bruising should be reported to your Doctor if you didn't know how it got there.

In fact, all the links of the DAZ page are dead, not only the link for A3.  :insist:

Hey gang.  I just did a quick check and follow thru on HEMI426's Centaur Kits.   I have all of them, but he is the only one that can upload them anywhere, unless I have his permission to do so.  HEMI will always be given full credit for all my  'Taurs as they were made with his kits.  The kits are morphs and poses he created with Hexagon 2.5 and Poser.
On to current.  I did check all the links in HEMI's first post as he kept all the links to his kits there.  As he made or modified any kit, it got its link updated in that first post.
Now, at ShareCG HEMI did upload 1 kit for V4.  THAT kit can actually be used, with a bit of tweaking, for every 'Taur I made.   See, he made morphs for the Mil Horse, and also poses to hide the legs of the human Figures.  All coats work for the horse body in all the kits.  That didn't change.   If you have the Millennium Foal, the horse morphs MIGHT work.

IF I can find HEMI426 and get his permission, I will upload the kits somewhere he approves of.  Whether that is here or ShareCG I don't know.  But I would choose both actually!

Good job finding that V4 kit at ShareCG Sir Knight!

Also, a few of my Centaur pics are over at DA:  https://www.deviantart.com/mcgrandpa

A little additional information:
Aiko Foal Centaur @ PoserDAZ Freebies
contains an archive.org link to this one.

Thank you Sir Knight, I'll add these links in the first message of topic. Better than nothing.

McG, I know you can't share packs. I was just hoping you knew better than any of us if Hemi426 had another area with his freebies.

I do not know where he is keeping those files now.  The site he originally linked to from the DAZ forum no longer has his stuff there.

BUT, Aelins and Sir Knights link to the Wayback Machine Archives DOES have a couple of the files.  I think the same page will turn up the files if we enter the original file names.  Lemme try that.  None of the file names got a hit on Wayback Machine from 2010 - 2015
The link for the V4 and MilHorse Centauress with the zebra coat shown at ShareCG is good, and is the latest update for version 1 of that morph kit.
Both links above for the Aiko3 and Mil FOAL morph kit are good.

I have NOT located HEMI426.   Seems married life is really keeping him busy.  WHEN I do find him, if he even responds, I will ask if I can post his files here or in the freebies at Renderosity or ShareCG.

But, as we all know, it is up to him, and we respect that.

In the meantime I will keep searching for old pages still working with good links to his kits.

In HEMI's kits;  the main things are 1) the morph for the animal.  2) the pose for the human Figure to hide the legs and set size of hips to fit the creature neck.  3) the Transmap, which applies to the animal, not to the human.  This is created to smooth the transition from human to animal parts.
HEMI's method is the best I've tried.  There are others that use a 'skirt' like object to hide the transition line.  HEMI didn't need that because he shaped the neck and hid the head, making a good looking transition without an additional prop.

The two kits that are available will allow anyone to create centaurs using the DAZ MilHorse, MilFoal and any human figure.  As mentioned, the really important bits are the horse morph and transmap.  If you have those, you're Gold!  And you can experiment a lot.

HEMI made several versions of the morphs for the horse so different ages were easily made.  And of course, the one for the felitaur using a human and the MilBigCat.

Great news all ye Centaur and Felitaur lovers!   HEMI426 has responded to me, and gives me his permission to upload the morph kits to ShareCG!   So, I'm headed there to do just that right now.   :yippee:
