at my house it is a warning...my yard is 75% clay. my mom planted a garden with veggies and we avoided the back yard due to the soil stealing shoes right off the feet. nowadays...it is literal, when you least expect it there is a hole big enough to swallow you right up to your hip, hence people eating yard  

For the two of you sharing your challenges, I am sorry to see this has happened to you.  I'm in about the same shape and can really relate to how it feels to lose abilities step by step. 

"People Eating Yard"!  It's a language joke.  Where I am that would mean you are eating people in that yard.  Sorry, just couldn't resist...

so im not working until next thursday due to snow starting friday night lasting through tuesday and my next days off being tuesday and wednesday next week gotaa love admin leave

I know that feeling, I can use a cane to walk short distances but since the dozens of falls and damages AND arthritis...I have to get taken in a wheelchair to go to store just about 12 blocks away   Thus far not have to rely it in the house but our people eating yard is a different story... 

  y'all!  Now regaled to the wheelchair.  Mobility slow.  Still fighting for my independence and pride.
