Postage Stamp in Filter Forge 08-06-2021 winner Filter Forge 10 Studio
|
It has been a long time since I used Filter Forge so I'm just going to use a filter on one of my photos.
I have Filter Forge 6.0 and I used the standalone version and then finished in Photoshop.
Open Filter Forge
From the File menu Open your Image,
(I took this photos in Furnace Creek, Death Valley. There is an open air museum with some cool equipment from the Borax 20 Mule Team days.)
The image can be enlarged using the magnify glass button on the top bar, click the button and then click on the image.
The filter I used is called Postage Stamp by Kochubey, you can find it under Effects and Creative.
(If it is not there you can download it from their web site.)
I used the default preset because I really liked the way it looked.
When you are happy with the effect press the "Save Image As..." button at the bottom right.
After that load the image in Photoshop.
Select the Text Tool. I used the eye dropper to match the border color.
Type in the text you want and change the font, I used a Font called Medieval Sharp Oblique.
To get the cent sign hold Alt and type the numbers 0162
Move the text layers until you get the look you want.
A simple way to blend the text and image is to reduce opacity of the the text layers, here the opacity was set to 75%.
Thanks for viewing have a great day!
