There was a rush of smells: salt water and wet vegetation with a distant note of some unrecognized stronger odor.
6-BLUE-2 said, "No records of landings here before."
Eve stood, looking at the ship that had clearly been resting on the beach for quite a while. Its loading ramp was lowered which made her think it had been abandoned.
"I'm going ashore," she said.
6-BLUE-2 reported "No large biologics within 100 meters. Water does not contain human dangerous pathogens. Ocean floor is irregular."
She slipped into the water and after a short swim began to wade towards the shore.
