As they walked out to the research station shuttle, Eve commented "I wonder how many of the intelligent native entities don't interact with us at all."
"What provoked that thought?" asked Monica.
"There were very large amphibians when we landed that were clearly interested in us and appeared to have some intelligence," Eve replied.
Monica wanted to know "How large?"
"Oh, maybe two meters or so and bipedal," answered Eve casually.
Karolina's head snapped around.
"Two meters! I hope we don't meet them on our surveys."
