An Unexpected Meeting

"What is this? The First Official Gathering of the Hybrids of Fiera? Where are the rest of them?" Desi asked as she walked into the dojo. She had a deep rich voice. Husky. Sexy. Everything about Desiderata was sexy as far as JC was concerned. Still. Seeing her now proved it all over again.

Seth shrugged and laughed. Justin was speechless. "Could be a start, I guess. Maybe. How about we go have dinner? I don't know about you Desi, but we've worked up an appretite and MaryJane is cookin'! Besides, there is something I want to talk to you both about."

"I don't know if I'll be able to eat," Justin said, looking Desi up and down. "Whoa.... You look fantastic. How are you? You're not mad at me?"

"Why should I be? We both had things to do, didn't we? Sure, I'll join you for dinner." Desi was always reasonable, when it was practical to be so. Except when she was mad - one of those 'hell hath no fury' types. Nobody was going to jerk Desi around - ever. That was a thing he HAD learned about her and he liked it - respected it.

Justin gave a sigh of relief and pushed the hair back from his jaw. He smiled down at her, "Yeah. Yeah, we did. We'll talk soon. Tonight...if you don't have other plans."

"Let me check when we sit down," she winked at him and turned.
