Inhumans - Medusa
How many of us here remember Marvel Comics' "Inhumans" series? As I recall, they first appeared in the early 1970's. There was a core group that were the main characters.

The Inhumans were people and certain creatures that had been changed by a substance called "Terragen". Their leaders were Blackbolt (King), and Medusa (Queen). Blackbolt dared not speak, for with the sound he could destroy entire worlds. The more interesting Medusa had red prehensile hair and great strength. She could move very heavy objects with her hair.

Well when the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) began coming into its own, "Agents of Shield" was produced and released for TV. "Agent Carter" was another show released for TV from Marvel. On Agents of Shield we began seeing a few Inhumans, so the next step would have to be a show about the Inhumans. Problem was it was placed in the lap of a penny pincher producer, who immediately went looking for ways to cut the cost for each episode. One of his solutions was perhaps the most unpopular move in the entertainment business; h had Medusa's hair cut to butch length! This was to save money on the cost of animating her hair in subsequent episodes. Problem was, she was the main reason many of the fans of the Inhumans wanted to watch the show. He lost most of the fan base right from the beginning, and the show did not even last a whole season!

So I decided to do a render using free resources showing how easy today's CGI technology makes doing the moving hair effect. I'm sure there are other hair products available at DAZ 3D that can morph even better than this one; which is Mitsu Hair for Genesis. I used the movement morphs for the hair to create this hair pose. Hope you like it.
