A portrait of Frankenstein's Monster

Easily one of the most recognizable literary monsters, Frankenstein's monster was introduced to the world in 1818 in Mary Shelly's book Frankenstein.

The monster was created by Victor Von Frankenstein using various body parts. Soon after the monster escapes, and since people automatically think he is evil because he is ugly, he starts acting the way he is treated.

2 centuries later this monster that was never given a name of his own by the author still captivates people around the world in popular culture.
